Description
In a project to optimize IT asset management, the central recording and management of all of a company’s IT resources was implemented using ServiceNow and Auto-Discovery. The goal was to ensure automated inventory and compliant configuration of assets, as well as to integrate relevant interfaces. The services included, in particular, the design, configuration, and further development of the ITSM processes and the underlying data architecture. This required in-depth expertise in the ServiceNow architecture and experience with the IT infrastructure of logistics companies – particularly with regard to representation in the CMDB and its use within ITSM processes. The implementation was carried out in the service areas of architecture, development, quality assurance, and test management.

Job Responsibilities:
- Implementation and configuration of the auto-discovery function in ServiceNow
- Development of scripts and workflows to optimize the automatic capture of ITA assets
- Adaptation of the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) structure
- Validation and cleansing of the captured data to ensure data quality
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in connecting external systems via REST or SOAP APIs
- 4 years of experience with ITSM (ServiceNow) and OpenText Service Manager; OpenText uCMDB; common vulnerability scanning (Qualys); GRC; IBM Tivoli Event Management Systems
- At least 4 years of experience in operating and maintaining ITSM (ServiceNow) platforms
- At least 3 years of experience with auto-discovery in the cloud and auto-discovery in data centers
- At least 4 years of experience in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, OTSM, SAM, HAM SecOPS, Service Catalog, and Production Automation.
Must Have Skills:
- Proof of ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, and Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript)
- Good knowledge of German (C1 level)
